Located at One Prospect Park, Brooklyn, NY, this new 15-story 200,000 sq. ft. residential condominium building contains 114 units, two levels of below grade parking, residential lounges and recreational rooms. The all glass curtain wall design exceeded the latest energy conservation code requirements. Systems included gas-fired absorption chiller/heaters for heating and air conditioning. While the project did not file for LEED Certification, it’s high performance skin and high efficiency gas-fired absorption chiller/heater result in substantial electric energy and demand savings over conventional construction.
