New York, NY
As part of his overhaul of the storied 1924 Gramercy Park Hotel in New York, Ian Schrager has created 23 apartments designed by the London Architect, John Pawson. The full floor apartments occupy an existing annex building, with bronze-framed floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Gramercy Park, white oak floors in the living spaces, and stainless steel and cherry wood kitchens. Design included modifications of basic floor plate to create apartments with kitchens, a new residential lobby, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Systems and new electric service and distribution.
