Modernization of the design for the mechanical systems in this existing 14-story, 315,000 sq. ft. Health Research Laboratory. The new design allowed for the phased construction of new air handlers and a 2,000 ton chiller plant maintaining continuous operation of the facility. The Public Health Laboratory includes an AIDS research center for New York City.
