The Royalton Hotel was further updated in 2007.  For information regarding original renovations see Royalton Hotel (1988).  Updated design of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection Systems  for the 2007 Royalton Hotel renovations.

To update the interior of the hotel, a $17.5 million dollar renovation was completed for the re-imaging of the Royalton’s historic lobby, bar, restaurant, and penthouses. The renovation of the lobby consists of a massive bronze fireplace, heavy metal furnishings, soft suede upholstery, thick leather walls and hide-covered chairs. The 27 suites were redesigned with five-foot Roman soaking tubs. There is an added 24-hour state-of-the-art fitness room, spa services and a Lobby lounge restaurant.
