Mr. Leone is an accomplished Mechanical Engineer with over 30 years of experience. Mr. Leone joined ads ENGINEERS in 1983, and was named Principal in 1988. Since joining ads ENGINEERS, Mr. Leone has been instrumental in business development, client relations, enhancement of the firm's standards of design and supervision of the Mechanical Department. Under his direction, ads ENGINEERS has engineered numerous project types including high-rise residential, hotels, office buildings, retail, entertainment, sports facilities, laboratories, educational buildings, corporate headquarters, and cultural centers. Mr Leone's projects are some of the largest and most complex projects of the firm. Most notably are some Premier Hotels; The Hudson, The Royalton, The Paramount, the Greenwich Hotel, The Gramercy Park Hotel, The Mondrian (Los Angeles, CA), The Clift (San Francisco, CA) and most recently the Cooper Square Hotel. His designs not limited to that of Hotels, have included luxury condo towers such as 23 High Line, One York Street, 40 Bond Street, 165 Charles Street and 50 Gramercy Park North. High-end retail chains and education facilities such as; Hermes (NY & Chicago), H&M, Crate & Barrel, Banana Republic, Tiffany, Nieman Marcus, Stony Brook University, Skirkanich Hall at University of PA, Scripps Institute, LaJolla, CA and NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Quality has always been the forefront of Mr. Leone's designs along with emphasis on the client's requirements, while making sure to stay within the budget. Servicing his high-end clientele such as Ian Schrager, Morgans Hotel Group, Herzog & De Meuron, Enrique Norton, OMA (Rem Koolhause), Richard Meier, and Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects, just to name a few, has been challenging and exciting focus on the ever current and changing environmental demands. |
