Shea Stadium

Renovation and expansion of a number of important facilities within the Shea Stadium Complex.  All projects involved difficult field conditions due to the structural complexity, lack of as-built drawings, space constraints imposed on in-fill projects, major existing services which required rerouting, and limited electric service available.  Including luncheon and dining areas, new air conditioning, plumbing and electrical. 

Executive Offices:  New air conditioning units, distribution system, heating system supplement, lighting and power renovation, new roof drainage, standpipe relocation and toilet renovation.
Luxury Box: Renovation of Owner's Sky Box.  New air conditioning system was designed to operate with glass partition opened.
Domestic Water System: Design of new well water wash-down system for the stadium.  The system was to include new 50 HP well pumps, 1,000 ga. pump tanks, underground piping, new ring mains and standpipe, hose bibbs, electrical work.  The goal of the project was to reduce municipal water consumption.
Diamond Club: Modification of existing lighting system.
Picnic Area: Development of a picnic area including plumbing for concession stand and gas supply for outdoor barbecue grilles.
Player Locker Rooms: New air conditioning and ventilation systems, lighting and receptacles, new plumbing fixtures.
Ticket Office: Renovation and expansion of ticket office including new air conditioning, lighting and power.
Restaurant/Club: Schematic design for new three level dining club including luncheon and dining areas, new air conditioning, plumbing and electrical.
