A Progressive
Architecture Award winner this project required special solutions to
provide
environmental
control for unique architectural configurations, each with a diverse
environmental requirement. The
mechanical distribution system utilized air tunnels in lieu of ductwork
and
evaporative sprays for cooling and humidification in lieu of mechanical
refrigeration. Two speed fans and a
computerized control system were incorporated for energy conservation.
